My friend WolfSilverOak has been making jewelry and textile art for a long time. I buy her scarves and necklaces on a regular basis and am always happy with them. This time, though, she just blew me away. I am so amazed by this piece of hers! It’s an amazing necklace. Click the image for the full picture.
Here’s her text from her Etsy listing: This unique, and stunning piece was carefully hand beaded, and features a genuine resin dipped, Cattalya Orchid.
The base of this stunner is a spiral rope chain, in the graduated colors of fire, 16 different colors in all, then carefully branch bead fringed on each and every turn of the spiral, terminating in a goldtone toggle clasp. This magnificent piece is built using 10lb FireLine for the base necklace, and 6lb FireLine for the fringe.
In this piece, you see the culmination of well over 100 hours worth of work, almost a full (125yd) spool of FireLine, and nearly entire hanks of each color of Czech glass seed bead.
A true Masterpiece, this gorgeous piece is guarenteed to gather many compliments and turn heads where ever you may wear it.
Please be aware, this is not a lightweight piece, coming in at over 1lb in weight, by itself.
Way to go, Wolf! I’m used to expecting amazing things from you, but this one took the cake. I really suggest checking out her Etsy shop.

Hey, you know that dolphin commission? What do pieces of that complexity cost, on average? I liked that one.
