Amazon.com:
...My Wishlist.
Where I make most of my online purchases. Unfortunately, in most cases, this is cheaper than buying from Canadian sellers.
37signals:
Start with Writeboard and Backpack, if you want to see how this system can work for your writing. It's intuitive and easy to use and you can access your files from anywhere. I recommend a Writeboard/Campfire combination for online writing workshops. All the basic functionality for these products is available in their free versions.
DIY Planner:
I use Classic with Creative in a half-sized 3-ring binder with cardstock dividers. I also use the Hipster PDA printed on ultrabright cardstock. My partner, who is a project manager for a major Canadian insurance company, uses full-sized pages in a large binder to track his projects.
43 Things:
Where I keep my project list. Get one of your own and let me know what you're up to. Drop a 'cheer' on one of my goals, I'll come visit you and return the favour.
Incompetech:
I love this site. I use it for the name database and for the paper PDFs. I am a stationery whore; specifically for variants of graph and lined paper.
43 Folders:
Merlin Mann's blog of organizational tactics, neat things, and life hacks. I really like his podcasts.
Winamp:
My favourite music player. I have the full version but only got it in 2006, was using it for years for free without trouble.
SomaFM:
Once you have Winamp, go play some Soma. This is, out of laziness and habit, the only station I listen to online.
